Henri Cartier-Bresson taught us to capture the decisive moment within 1/125 seconds.
For me a picture begins when the place opens out before my eyes.
I then return, and the shutter opens for a first time.
A few minutes, some hours or days may pass.
The shutter opens for the second time.
Click. I note down the time. 11e26, 9e43, 13e11. These are the titles of my photos.
Afterwards the grass can go on growing, the trees go greener and greener, the sky fill up with clouds and people go back home.
But my testimony is over.
